We are pleased to share this year’s JCJ Winter Tzedaka Project with you. As we teach our Sunday School students, tzedaka is a mitzvot required in the Torah.

In addition to a project our Sunday School families are working on, as a community we will also be providing Start Up Care Packages for young adults who have recently graduated from children’s homes in Tokyo and will be starting to live on their own. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of these young people who have spent most of their childhood in a children’s home without a family to support them.

We have a specific list of items, such as towels, first aid kits and kitchen supplies which are needed. We will purchase the needed items in advance of the packing on December 4 at 11:00 AM.

If you would like to contribute one or more starter kits please indicate on the form below and your JCJ account will be charged 5000 yen for the cost of the items plus 1000 yen for the cost of the Takkyubin delivery fee.

We would love all members to join in the packing but if you are unable to attend we will do the packing for you.

Please let us know if you would like to participate by Sunday, November 27.

Thank you in advance to everyone for participating in this project to help these young adults have a good start to their independent lives.
