Donating to the JCJ via CAF America will enable you to take a charitable tax deduction for US tax purposes.

CAF accepts donations via check, wire transfer, credit card, and transfer of stocks/securities.

For donors that would like to donate via check, please make a check payable to “Charities Aid Foundation America” and mail it to:

Donors via check should also include a filled out copy of CAF’s gift form which is available here. Please indicate that you would like to direct your donation to “Friends of the Jewish Community of Japan.”

Please note that CAF charges an administrative fee of 3% for donations made via check / wire and an administrative fee of 6% for donations made via credit card. We encourage you to consider grossing up your donation to help cover these fees and to notify the office if you have done so, or include a note with your donation. Whenever possible, we kindly ask that you consider making your donation via check or wire, given the lower fee.
