School registration requires membership in the Community. School fees for the current year are as follows:

School fees are charged per term (with two terms each year) and are non-refundable once a term has begun; prorated refunds are not available for early withdrawal. In addition, students celebrating their Bar or Bat Mitzvah during a school term are expected to remain enrolled for the entire term.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah Fees and Payment Requirements

To secure a Bar or Bat Mitzvah date, the following must be completed: 1) Payment of the Bar or Bat Mitzvah fee of JPY 180,000 in full (this amount covers both the ceremony and room rental for the Kiddush). 2) Payment of all membership dues through and including the month of the event, plus an additional three months of membership dues. 3) Payment in full of any outstanding balances on the member’s account. 4) Payment of 50% of the estimated costs for the Kiddush and any other event-related expenses, including catering, staffing, room rental, and related services.

The remaining balance of all event-related expenses is due no later than one month prior to the ceremony date. Any other outstanding balances must also be cleared at that time.
