JCC Newsletter – Bo

Happy New Year! We hope you had a good year-end holiday and you and your loved ones are healthy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan announces the official logo for the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the State of Israel in 2022.
This logo expresses our desire to further advance toward the future the bilateral relations, which have been dramatically flourishing in recent years based on the ties of a 70-year friendship.
We look forward to events commemorating this milestone in 2022. More on the logo on the MOFA site

Five New Books Celebrating Jewish-Asian Relations
Throughout history, members of the Jewish diaspora have called parts of Asia their home and members of the Asian community have made Judaism their spiritual home. Five books published in 2021 explore that rich history. In the spirit of the holiday season, AJC’s Asia Pacific Institute is delighted to present this reading list for those looking to learn more about the fascinating ties between Asian and Jewish cultures. If you would like to learn more about ACJ you can contact Jerry Rosenberg, our Asia Pacific Institute representative
